The Apple picking days are coming up!
The time is almost ripe, because the Apple Picking days are starting again in September!
Come and join us at the Philips Fruittuin with fellow fruit lovers. The apples and pear harvest is absolutely fantastic again this year, and as always, delicious, fresh and pure.
After picking you can come enjoy our pancakes at the restaurant, a fresh apple juice on the terrace and a visit to our local farm shop. And at home, of course, you can bake a tasty apple pie with your freshly picked fruit!
What are the Apple picking days all about?
With your Apple Picking Day ticket, you can pick your own apples and pears!
The ticket price includes one bag, which you'll receive on-site and can fill to the brim. Want to pick more? You can always purchase an extra bag during the Apple Picking Day itself.
We work with two time slots per day - a morning shift and an afternoon shift. Please note that you may only enjoy the restaurant and terrace within your allocated time slot. Be aware that our pancake restaurant closes at 5:00 PM.
Morning shift: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM – with a morning ticket, you're expected to leave the premises before 1:00 PM.
Afternoon shift: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM – with an afternoon ticket, you may only enter the premises starting as of 2:00 PM. This also means you won't be able to eat at the pancake restaurant before that time.

A: Children under 8 enter for free. They don't need a ticket.

A: Reservations are not possible at our pancake restaurant during the Apple Picking Days. Both inside and on our terrace, the rule is: first come, first served.
With a bit of luck, you'll find a sunny spot, but unfortunately, we can't guarantee it.

A: Parking is free with your Apple Picking Day ticket. Parking is just a few minutes' walk from the Fruittuin.
If you're coming by bike, you're guaranteed a (bicycle) parking space right by the entrance.

A: Dogs are welcome in our orchard and on our terrace, but must be kept on a leash.
Please note: Due to our open kitchen, your four-legged friend is unfortunately not allowed inside our restaurant.

A: No, during Apple Picking Days, the Philips Fruittuin is only open to those with an Apple Picking Ticket.
This also applies to the Landwinkel and the Pancake restaurant.

A: We sell two different types of tickets for the Apple Picking Days:
1 entrance ticket + 1 picking bag
2 entrance tickets + 1 picking bag
If you come with more than two people, you'll always buy more than one bag.
